Hawkers and Vendors get beaten and their shops vandalized after murder incident occurs on market stretch

According to reports from Ablekuma, June 14 2019 was a sad moment for them as a gentleman whose identity is yet to be confirmed got stabbed and killed due to a misunderstanding. The confrontation that the led to the death of the gentleman happened as a result of a misunderstanding leading the two parties to fight later seeing one person stabbed and killed.

Following the murder incident that occurred yesterday at Ablekuma, there has been a high level of vandalism in the area due to the demise of the young man whose friends/ crew are said to have vandalized the neighborhood.

According to eyewitnesses present the stabbed gentleman who eventually died crew refused to comprehend how hawkers, drivers, motorbike owners and other individuals present at the scene could look on for their friend to be stabbed and killed hence channeling  their anger on them beating up who they can lay hands on. This led to many food sellers and other vendors receiving multiple slaps and beat downs.

Earlier this morning it was discovered that the anger of culprits did not subside after that, they went on to break, destroy and condemn the stalls and wares of vendors on a whole market stretch overnight.  ** Pictures below**

Going even further with the extreme vandalism act the culprit(s) set ablaze a motorists bike. Fortunately leaving the closest bus parked with just a few broken glasses
