In recent days, social media has been flooded with a manipulated video falsely linking Ghanaian businessman Mr. Ibrahim Mahama to a cryptocurrency scheme promising unrealistic profits. The video claims that an initiative called "CryptoExplodeAI by Ibrahim Mahama" is generating up to GHS 62,000 in profit for investors who put in just GHS 3,800.Let’s be clear—this is completely false.

A public disclaimer has been issued to warn Ghanaian's and internet users not to fall for this deceptive AI-generated content. According to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama’s team, he has no connection whatsoever to any cryptocurrency business, investment scheme, or partnership with H.E. John Mahama in such matters.

The image that has been circulating, which includes a doctored video featuring a news presenter and flashy headlines, is entirely fabricated. The content was created and spread by faceless individuals with the intent to mislead and possibly scam unsuspecting victims.

Mr. Mahama’s Special Aide, Rafik Mahama, has confirmed that steps have already been taken to report the video to state authorities. Investigations are underway to track down those behind this fraudulent content. The aim is to have it taken down from all platforms and hold the perpetrators accountable.
