EC officials asked to proceed on leave over missing GHC 480,000

 The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has commenced investigations into the misapplication of staff endowment funds at the Electoral Commission (EC).
Investigations of some officials of the Electoral Commission over the loss of 480,000 cedis from the Commission’s Endowment Fund.
Consequently, the Deputy Chairperson in Charge of
Finance and Administration, Georgina Opoku Amankwah, has been asked to proceed on leave.

Also asked to proceed on leave is the Chief Accountant, Mr Kwaku Owusu Agyei-Larbi

and  Finance Officer, Joseph Kwaku Asamoah.
