Sylvester Stallone displayed his artistic talents and generosity at the amfAR gala in Las Vegas, where his painting sold for an impressive $410,000 to benefit AIDS research.
Held at The Wynn Hotel, the event saw Stallone and his family among the attendees. The actor presented an original multicolored painting titled "Knocking Heads," featuring vibrant greens, yellows, and reds, with thoughtful faces and a nod to his iconic character Rocky Balboa.
The auction was intense, with bids quickly escalating to $410K before the final gavel. The room erupted in applause as Stallone’s contribution made a significant impact on the prominent AIDS research foundation. Cameras captured Stallone beaming with pride, clearly pleased that his work could make such a difference.
Stallone, a longtime painter, received additional recognition during the gala, accepting an award from Tommy Hilfiger and his wife, Dee. In addition to his artwork, Stallone auctioned a spot in the upcoming season of his series "Tulsa King," raising another $300,000.
The night was a tremendous success for amfAR, blending art, entertainment, and charity. While Stallone is best known for his action-packed roles, his artistic and charitable contributions continue to leave a lasting mark.
