John Dumelo Appointed Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture

Ghanaian actor, entrepreneur, and farmer John Dumelo has been appointed as the Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture by President John Dramani Mahama. The announcement was made on February 5, 2025, by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Acting Spokesperson for the President. Dumelo, who is also the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, has been a strong advocate for agriculture, investing in crop and livestock farming over the years.
