Cristiano Ronaldo to train with Manchester United on Thursday

Superstar footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo will train with his new Manchester United teammates on Thursday September 8, ahead of his second debut for the club against Newcastle United on September 11.

The 36-year-old athlete was released from international duty this month and then flew into Manchester Airport but was immediately forced to isolate for five days in line with government regulations.

‘The Wire’ Actor, Michael K. Williams dies of suspected heroin overdose at 54

American actor, Michael K. Williams, best known for his role as Baltimore stick-up man Omar Little on HBO’s The Wire, has sadly died at the age of 54. 

The actor was found dead of a suspected heroin overdose in his Brooklyn penthouse Monday afternoon, September 6, law-enforcement sources told The Post.

He was discovered unconscious in the dining room of his luxury Williamsburg pad with what appeared to be heroin on the kitchen table, sources said.

Kanye West grabs 10th No. 1 album on Billboard, equalling Eminem's record

Kanye West’s new album, Donda has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the tenth time he'll have an album top the list.

With this feat, Kanye now equals Eminem's record (10) in the biggest week for any album release this year as it has also surpassed Olivia Rodrigo’s 'Sour'

Billboard reported that Kanye's Donda album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart after moving 309,000 equivalent album units in its first week of which 37,000 of that total came from pure album sales.

Italy have now broken the record for longest undefeated team in international football, following a scoreless draw against Switzerland in World Cup qualifying on Sunday, September 5.

Roberto Mancini's side were last beaten in 2018, breaking a mark set by Spain and Brazil previously as they are now without a loss in their last 36 matches.

UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson condemns racist abuse aimed at Raheem Sterling and Jude Bellingham during Hungary vs England match

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has called on world soccer's governing body FIFA to take action over what he described as "disgraceful" racist abuse aimed at England players by Hungary fans during a World Cup qualifier.

"It is completely unacceptable that England players were racially abused in Hungary last night," he wrote on Twitter.

Johnson urged FIFA to take "strong action against those responsible to ensure that this kind of disgraceful behaviour is eradicated from the game for good."

British broadcasters reported that Black England players were targeted with racial abuse by some Hungary supporters during Thursday's World Cup qualifier in Budapest that England won 4-0.
